Hi! I'm Alyse Jacobsen and I am so glad you're here. I grew up in a small town where I attended church, spent my summers at youth group, and even married a man who wanted to be a pastor. But somewhere along the way I realized that most of what I had been taught had been influence by Patriarchy and not The Divine. For the last decade and a half I have been trying to hold onto my faith while healing the wounds it gave me. This Winter Woman is where I share my struggles and my experiences with God.
